Cool, the opening of the game seems as stylistic as the trailers.

Damn, didn't see this until they announced it on twitter about an hour ago (along with new background music). It might not be that grand or informative, but I like that they are putting up new stuff regularly. 
Can't stop thinking about poor Vincent's neck though, it must really hurt if that last bit was supposed to be first person view...

Ha, I just watched the HD version of this thing,  and at the end of the video you can see a poster which says
 
"Buy now! only 80,000$ for a Space toursim"
 
Engrish aside, I think this confirms Catherine as taking place in the US. I hope not, because, the "herbivore young male" is a real japanese thing, and its weird seeing that applied to another culture

I was expecting something with a little more excitement but it was still pretty cool.

I know they are calling this the opening, but I wonder if this is what you actually see when you press start, or like Persona 3 and 4, this is the video you get prior to hitting the title screen.

Nice intro since in a way it sets the mood of the game.
