    Overview

Centipede Chaos is a sci-fi shoot-'em-up developed by Play Mechanix (in conjunction with Atari) and released by ICE for arcades on June 2019.

Based on Atari's 1981 arcade game Centipede, Centipede Chaos is a video redemption game where players earn tickets by shooting at waves of enemies (with multiple boss battles for additional bonus tickets). Up to three players can play at once, and players can join-in and continue at any time.

The objective of the game is to reach the tenth wave and defeat the Mega Spider to win the game's jackpot. This fight is a single-life challenge with no join-ins not continues allowed.

Operators can disable the video redemption part of the game for a more traditional endless arcade experience.
