The Cephadrome is a wyvern that roams the desert area of the monster hunter franchise. Within the monster hunter universe the Cephadrome is frequently nicknamed as "The Land Shark", this is obviously created because of it's fish like appearance. It has a flat diamond shaped head, it also has yellow eyes and appears to be a brownish colour but is actually black but looks as such due to sand packed between it's scales. When in sand the Cephadrome use's it's tail to propel it's self throughout the sand. This shows the in game reference of the Cephadrome after encountering it.
In Game Reference Image In the monster hunter game the best way to attack is to hit the most sensitive parts of it's body which include, the stomach and dorsal fin. (if you break these you will be rewarded at the end of he quest) Thunder elemental weapons seem to damage the Cephadrome the most, and the sonic bomb is also a good tactic because of the Cephadrome's high hearing frequency which cause it to leap out the sand and flail about, and will then return within the sand. It attacks using tail swipes, charges and shoots sand streams at hunters. A good way to take advantage of it's charge attack is to let it follow you to it's ally and let it charge towards it.
