    Charles Cecil is the founder and owner of lauded adventure game developer Revolution Software and has been active in game development for nearly 30 years. Charles has been the creative force behind many successful games in the adventure genre including Beneath a Steel Sky, In Cold Blood and the popular Broken Sword series. Starting with Circle of Blood (a.k.a. The Shadow of the Templars) in 1996, the Broken Sword series has gone on to win numerous awards and sell nearly five million copies. Develop magazine, Europe's premiere game development publication, awarded Charles the status of ‘Industry Legend' in 2006. Charles makes his home in York in the United Kingdom.
