This may constitute as shameless self-promotion but with all the Chime talk on the bombcast recently, I felt it relevant to post here.
I've been helping with research into cross cultural translation and the barriers faced therein within the games industry at my university and had the opportunity to interview certain companies with regard to this issue. Below is a link to my blog here with an interview I conducted with the lovely people at Zoe Mode, makers of Chime and the terribly underrated PSP game, Crush.

I've also asked them as to what they feel about having the game sold at a discount as over 60% of the proceeds are meant to go to charity (pretty sure the other 40% is a fixed value that has to do with fees paid to MS and other costs so it's likely that if the game sells for half price, the 40% MS fees then become 80% of the overall discounted cost) and will update the interview with a response should I get one - let's see whether or not the fact that you are still technically donating to charity can soothe Brad's conscious or if the damage has already been done.
