Overview
A man with a keen eye for talent, he works in the entertainment business neither for power or fame but to spot the most capable and promising pop stars there is. Despite his world renowned fame as both an instructor, and an organizer, he rarely takes the stage himself; He does this because believes the attention should fall on the idols and not him. He is hired by Dyna Chair, as a replacement for Ogita, to train Haruka for her big debut. He accepts once he sees how honest her dancing is.
As an instructor, he is also brutally honest, refusing to take in Haruka's dancing friend Akari. He judged her movements as being mechanized and solely aimed to please a crowd, rather than a form of expression coming straight from the heart. He encourages her to discover this for herself, as he does believe she can achieve it. He treats his protegés like this because he wants dancers to truly express themselves on how they feel, instead of what they think their audience want.
