    Overview

    Ciri is the daughter of Pavetta and Duny of Cintra, the princess and rightful heir of the country. She was promised as a "child of destiny" to Geralt of Rivia before she was even born.

    After her parents and her grandmother, Calanthe, die and her country drowns in the flames of war Geralt takes her with him to Kaer Morhen, the witcher's secret castle, where she gets training to become a witcher too.

    Ciri possesses a strong, hidden magical power because of the old elven blood coursing through her veins.

    Geralt and Yennefer serve as parents as well as mentors to her.

    She is a playable character in The Witcher 3.
