Just because I sold my Wii a couple months back to pay rent doesn't mean I can't enter my old games' serial numbers into Nintendo's database to redeem rewards! With my friend's copy of Punch-Out!! I was pushed into 800-coin territory, and I redeemed said coins for Mario-themed Hanafuda cards! Anyone else bothering with this Club Nintendo stuff? And if so, what are you spending your coins on?

What are hanafuda cards?

My Nintendo games are from the shitty Greek Nintendo partner Nortec and don't have point cards, not even hardware like the classic controller :-(

They're the business Nintendo started in. It's a Japanese playing card set. I'm sure it'll come with instructions on a couple game types. If not, there's always the internet.

Cool :)  That would probably have been what I would have gone for if I'd had the coins, although I think if I had the choice I might go for a traditional design rather than a Mario'd-up version :)  Be sure to tell us about the quality, and maybe show a few of the cards off in pics! :)

You can only register Nintendo published games, or I would have had some hanafuda cards a while ago. I'm at 710 right now, need a couple more games....

I only had enough points for the Mario DS game case, but it's pretty cool looking.  Came with a bunch of styluses too.

I didn't say I'm just short. As I said, 700 of my stars expired (I don't even know how), now I have but 60. Big difference.

Yeah, there probably will be. I'll end up getting Wii Sports Resort... I'll find something else, the problem is that I've bought plenty of DS games, (Just recently bought two) and they're just not first party so no points for me. Oh well, I'll figure it out.
