    The Comet Observatory is the headquarters of Super Mario Galaxy. It has domes that allows Mario and Luigi to enter various galaxies throughout their adventure with their guardian, Rosalina. When you get a Grand Star, the power will increase and when you get 60 of the 121 power stars, then it transforms into a spaceship which allows them to enter Bowser's Galaxy Reactor to find the "Special one" - Peach! The observatory also appeared at the end of Super Mario Galaxy 2 where Rosalina must return her lost Luma back home so she can read the story to the Lumas, if you have 70-120 Stars!
