    Conker's Bad Fur Day

Game » consists of 3 releases. Released Mar 04, 2001

A comedy platform adventure featuring Conker, a drunkard, foul-mouthed red squirrel trying to find his way home after he awakes hungover in the middle of a field with a fuzzy memory and only the clothes on his back to accompany him.

Is this game still good with today's standards?

I mean, obviously the graphics are bad, but what about everything else? I know this was considered one of the greats, and even scored a 9.9 on IGN. What do you guys think of this game today?

I've actually heard no. Actually, I've heard Conker's Bad Fur Day is better than Live and Reloaded, which was a remake of it. Also, the 64 one is uncensored, whereas the Xbox one is

It can be really frustrating because there aren't any clear mission objectives. I spent a lot of time just wandering around trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. I never even beat it. I just gave up. Played the Xbox version.

Wow I have not played that game for a while.  The single player might have gotten worse, but the mutliplayer might hold up.  Then again all of this is from memory so take it with a grain  of salt.

Well I didn't think the multiplayer was good back then, so it's probably completely dated now.  As for the single player it's probably extremely juvenile, so if that's your thing go for it.  Don't know about the gameplay though except most N64, or I guess in this case an Xbox port of an N64 game, aged pretty badly.

Never played the original BFD on the N64; but I did play Live and Reloaded on the Xbox shortly after it released and absolutely loved it. Can't say much on the multiplayer as I didn't have Xbox Live at the time and the bot matches get old quickly. The singleplayer campaign however; while definitely very dated is still extremely enjoyable. If you can find Live and Reloaded or some other way to play the SP I'd definitely recommend it. That is of course you like old school 3D platformers with some rather wonky 3rd person shooting bits thrown in. To be totally fair though; the crude humor and profanity don't stand the test of time as well.

The game is still a ton of fun.  The references have not held up one iota.

Even by today's standards it's fucking amazing. One of the finest titles on the N64.

It seemed very childish when it came out, but fits right in today.

The N64 one is actually way better. Only two things better about the Xbox version are the graphics and the analog stick aiming (which is way better than using the dumb C-pad thingy).
