Is anyone interested in Grubbins on Ice, the Costume Quest DLC announced for December?

Personally, I'm not sure what I think about this. I loved the original, but the Halloween theme was a big part of my enjoyment of the original game.

Well, the new content is about an hour long.  I'd say it's worth getting if you enjoyed the main game but if you felt it was too short for the price..  the extra DLC probably won't make you feel any better.  But I will say that it's just as well written as the main game was and the new costumes are rather cute.  There's also one or two easter eggs, while interesting do make the content feel like a 400 point advertisement and I think a few people will be angry about that.

This doesn't relate to Costume Quest at all, but if you want to discover it for yourself..  (Act quick before GiantBomb, Joystiq and Kotaku have it plastered everywhere)

Secondly:  (this does relate to the main story, so massive spoilers ahead)

I don't know how you could have possibly played through it in an hour, unless you intentionally did it as quickly as possible.

I spent a good amount of time looking around for costume parts, other secrets, talking to all the NPC's and whatever else.  The last boss also took me 3 attempts.
I didn't time myself, so it could have been slightly more than an hour.  But it certainly wasn't much over that.

How do you get to the
    Stacking Secret Area
I'm guessing thats what you need to get the Short Stack achievement. I completed the DLC and got the rest of the achievements and this is the only one I'm missing.

    Answer below:
There is a place in the second "floor" where there are some ramps. After one of them, and if you have the eyeball, one of the characters will talk about "wishing for better vision". Use the eyeball's power there and you will see a cave entrance you can reach if you drop down between the bushes. Inside the cave you will find the cameo.

Did you like Costume Quest? Would you like more Costume Quest? If you answered "yes" to both those questions, you should buy Grubbins on Ice.

Honestly, I was pretty tired of CQ by the time I finished it but I bought the DLC anyways and I enjoyed it quite a bit.  Also:

It took me about 2 - 3 hours to beat it.  The final boss took at least 30 - 45 minutes; it was really hard for some reason!

I picked it up finally and I have enjoyed it so far my only complaint was I started a new game back after beating the first to see if the story line was a little different but gave up shortly after finding out it wasn't. So when I started Grubbins I lost all my extra costumes!! :(
