I meant to buy a shotgun, but I accidentally bought a light-machine gun instead. I'm glad I did though, I literally turned a corner and had three guys running at me all in a line, I mowed them all down at once in half a second, then finished the round by eliminating a fourth enemy. Anyone else here get any triple, quadruple, or quintuple kills within a couple of seconds before?

This is actually pretty common once you've played the game a while longer. The P90 and Negev LMG gives you ample ammunition to just spray and take out the entire opposing team if you set up on a decent choke while they rush.

I remember mowing down 9 enemies with a single burst of the M249 in CS:S. It happened only once, but I recall the whole server cheering on me then lol.
