    Story

    After the rest of his squad is killed in action, the Fuhyou (a Japanese soldier) must single-handedly complete his mission and help defeat the axis.

    Gameplay

    Covert Command is a third-person shooter set in World War II. It features stealth and sniper mechanics, but is still largely focused on action and excessive gore. The weapons are relatively standard, including a machine gun, sniper rifle, knife and grenades.

    It features RPG-lite mechanics which doll out skill points after each level. These skill points can be spent increasing health, stamina, accuracy and damage. Stamina is used for running, dodging and shooting, and recharges over time when not moving.

    Ports

    The game got ports for the Nintendo DS in 2007 (with multiplayer mode), and for the Nintendo 3DS eShop in 2013.
