    A Nostalgic Ride!

Many have mentioned that this game is the Dark Souls of racing, at first I found that specific comment to be rather baffling.

However, after now having played the game the comment actually makes quite a bit of sense. If you are a casual gamer then perhaps it will still be quite amusing for you. However, if you like to grind and get Trophies then and only then will you understand.

This game is a lot more difficult than the original, with tougher difficulties and better AI to compete against. For those that enjoy casual then there is an Easy difficulty to enjoy.

The story is exactly the same as the original bar a few tweaks here and there but nothing that sways from the actual original title. The slight changes where a great addition too, better character introductions are but one of the nice features new to the game.

The new soundtrack is not too bad, though for nostalgia reasons we do prefer the original and thus have opted to stick with that. From what we have heard though, the new soundtrack is rather good and should be listened to. The game does feature the option to switch between original and remake music if one wishes to do so.

All of the original characters return with an updated look and different voices to the roles. We are not too happy with the voice changes for some of them though, as we feel the original was so much better. This is not the nostalgic part of us saying this, just we do literally feel like the original voices are generally better. However, after a few races the voices do eventually get familiar and are okay.

There are several new characters and tracks to play and race on. After all this unlike the original is a cross between Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart. Crash Nitro Kart is the sequel to Crash Team Racing and thus was a nice added feature.

There are several different games modes to play. Including the Story Adventure, Time Trails, Online and many many more! Some of which are as already mentioned quite a challenge to get through. So prepare to Praise The Sun 'cough' I mean prepare to Start Your Engines!

    OVERALL:

Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is a very fun and entertaining game. The online feature is fun and can be very competitive.

The game is easy enough for those whom enjoy a casual experience and it can be difficult for those that enjoy a more tougher experience of the game, so feel free to pick your poison.

Having the original soundtrack is a nice feature and seeing all of the characters return is a nice feeling after all of these years too.

The game has a lot of potential for more updates and more enjoyment for years to come!
