er...2011 of course. I'll watch as the rest of the thread devolves into everyone correcting my typo :)

But man, I was really looking forward to this one. The last quarter of 2010 looks rather bleak now. The only games left on my want list are FEAR 3 and Trackmania 2. I guess Q1 is again going to packed next year.

Crysis 2 averted until Q1 2010
I'm not looking forward to it to be perfectly honest, it looks watered down compared to the original. The sandbox environment doesn't seem to be as expansive and interactive as the original. it even looks a lot more scripted than the original too. I don't know, the final product could surprise me and deliver the definitive Crysis experience, but I currently have low expectations for it.
How is there a duplicate thread for this ? I only hit enter once accidentally while creating this one." OP- just create a new thread with the correct year. Third time's the charm. "
Edit: I just checked. The time stamps for both of them are identical. Well, to the bug reporting forum then.
Good, maybe they will actually improve the graphics because I don't think it looks anywhere near the first crysis in terms of texture quality or graphical quality. Honestly one of these days I better write crytek in an email telling them that because they aren't getting the msg. I hope with more time they will actually improve the graphics. The console port might be a benchmark, however the pc version looks like crysis on medium settings, totally backwards, I mean maybe not everyone knows that, however it sort of does look like that. I hope they polish the game and actually improve the graphics by then at Q1 2010. I mean 2011.
However if anyone out there thinks it looks like the best looking game ever, i'm not going to tell you that your wrong, i'm only speaking from experience because I thought crysis was suppose to be photorealistic. I just hope with more time, they will work towards that.
Well I guess I can take that from the list of games I'm looking forward to at the end of this year. Man does the end of this year not look great for games.
Didn't we have this exact same "Q4 is a wasteland!" discussion this time last year? Then Batman, Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, Dragon Age etc. all came out and they were (according to popular consensus at least) a lot better than most of us were expecting.
I figure there has to be one dark horse between now and GOTY, and I fully expect two or three of the (supposedly) known-quantities to be more positively received than people are currently expecting. The margins between a mediocre game and a great game are very slim nowdays - it wouldn't take a whole lot for something like Mafia 2 -or even Two World 2- to suddenly become a big deal.

My feelings exactly. I hope they can do something to dispell my fears between now and Q1, but I have my doubts.
I'm still expecting another delay, unless this means fiscal Q1.
F.E.A.R. 3 I bet will get a delay too if it hasn't already.
I'm not bothered by this. The game hasn't felt like a product ready to ship within the next few months to me, just with how little of the game environment we've seen footage of and how reluctant Crytek has seemed to be to concisely outline some of the game's basic features.

That would be the ultimate gaming rig, the graphical experience is so intense your pc needs a freaking Flux Capacitor to even install it.
Somehow I think Crysis 2 will not be the graphics king. I'm starting to think Deus Ex: HR or something else will take the crown. From where I am standing Crysis 2 does not look that intense.
" @ThatFrood said:oh... oh God." "Averted"? You make it sound like we dodge a bullet or something. "It's a really shitty pun, he's basically saying "Crisis averted." "
I.
pfff
pfffffffffffffffffffffff
pfffffahahahHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAhaahAHAHAHAAHA!
Thank you, wow! I can't believe I didn't catch that.

(Also, you missed the 's' in Two Worlds II.)
