    Overview

The second game in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation game franchise follows the previous pattern of five consecutive cases, the fifth one being the tie-up between all of the previous ones.

The player once again, like in the first game, starts out as a new member of the CSI ''family'' who has the opportunity to investigate cases side by side with one beloved characters from the show each new case. The voice-acting is done by the shows original cast which fans of the show will surely appreciate.

At the end of each case, of course, the player gets an evaluation score from none other than Gil Grissom, who depending on how well the player has collected and followed evidence and if the player has asked any hint questions to his/her partners, gives the player a rank which shows how well the player has dealed with the case. The player gains access to the game's concept art by completing a case and achieving a good evaluation rank, the higher the rank - the more concept art can be viewed.
