    Overview

    Combining the acrobatics and stealth skills associated with ninjas and the technological advancements and super human abilities associated with partial or full cyborg bodies, humans who become cyborg ninjas in video games are a force to be reckoned with as protagonists, allies or enemies. Cyborg ninjas take inspiration from both Western and Eastern takes on the post-modern science fiction genre, Cyberpunk.

    The most notable cyborg ninjas in video games are the Metal Gear characters from Metal Gear Solid, Gray Fox and Raiden, and the Mortal Kombat characters Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke.
