D. Scott Williamson is a video game developer who started programming when he was 10 years old. His 25-plus year career started at Atari; currently he works at High Voltage Software.
Williamson is credited in something like 50 games and is arguably best known for his project to bring the vector coin op game Star Castle to the Atari 2600. Atari said it couldn't be done, but after a few years of work and one successful Kickstarter campaign the Atari 2600 version of Star Castle was released (both on a cartridge and for emulators) in 2012.
