Overview
Officially released on the Riot servers on May 23rd, 2012, Darius is an attack damage based bruiser champion that specializes in sustained damage over time and burst damage. Darius was a very popular Top lane pick back in 2012, but his popularity has died down in the current meta. His alternate skins are Lord Darius (a Darius encrusted with intricate golden armor) Bioforge Darius, a Zaunite, biopunk take on Darius, and Woad King Darius, a version of Darius that looks like he could be in Braveheart.
Abilties

Passive | Hemorrhage: Darius' basic attacks and damaging abilities cause enemies to bleed. Hemorrhage deals magic damage over times, and stacks up to 5 times. The greater the stacks on enemies, the more damage they will take over time. |
| Q | Decimate: Darius swings his gigantic battle-axe in a circle around him. Enemies hit by the blade of the axe will take 50% more damage. Applies Hemorrhage. |
| W | Crippling Strike: Causes Darius' next basic attack to deal additional damage, and also slow the targeted enemy's attack and movement speeds for 2 seconds. Applies Hemorrhage. |
| E | Apprehend: Darius pulls all enemies closer to him. Additionally, this ability passively gives Darius armor penetration based on its rank. |
| R | Noxian Guillotine: Darius leaps to an enemy champion and thrusts his axe down upon them, dealing true damage. For each stack of Hemorrhage active on his target, this ability deals more damage. If Noxian Guillotine kills its target, Darius can cast this ability again on other champions for 12 seconds. This can occur multiple times in succession. |
Trivia
- Darius and Draven are brothers, though their personalities are very different from one another. They are known as the "Blood Brothers".
- Darius attempts to (unsuccessfully) impersonate Garen in his joke.
