I strongly advise duders to try this after a bad day at work, or when feeling generally stressed. Dark Souls, being a naturally frustrating game, lends itself to intoxication very well. For the sake of argument, consider a 'drink' to be 2 or 3 fingers worth of your prefered beverage.

What you will need -

Your standard drink of choice, typically beer, cider or a long mixer (rum + coke) etc.

Your shot of choice, in honor of Giantbomb I find Whiskey to be the best.

A copy of Dark Souls.

A bed/sofa to crash on.

The rules -

Taking a swig on your estus flask = You take a drink

Popping a humanity = Take a large drink

Killing a boss = Finish your drink

Summoning a phantom to help = A shot

Death via enemy = A shot

Death via environment = 2 shots (dumbass)

Death on the way to recover your bloodstain = Finish your drink and take a shot

And finally for PvP players

Win against an opponent = Take a drink

Lose against an opponent = Take a shot

I wish you duders the best of luck, remember, only drink as much as you're comfortable with...by that point you'll be drunk and will carry on anyway.

I can drink like a champ, but there is no fucking way I would do this. I would die

Downward spiral like hell man. The more you drink, the slower your reaction time. The slower your reaction time, the more deaths's you'll suffer. The more you die, the more you drink. The more you drink, the more you die (IRL)

I found that I was best at dark souls between the 2 and 5 drink mark (beers, Less if drinking mixed drinks (i'm heavy handed with the booze)). Prior to two, i'm too up tight about dying etc....5+, the motor skills start working against you and bad decisions aplenty start rearing their ugly heads.

I think the only rule should be drink when you die. You'll be drunk before you know it anyway because the more you drink the more you 'd die.

@mrcool11: I somehow survived. Started the drinking game at Blighttown and ended after a few deaths on O+S in Anor Londo...was a good sleep after that for sure

You should probably inform your family and friends before undertaking this game that surely tempts fate. Knowing my record, I'd be dead from AP in an hour. E.G. I suck at dark souls

Great idea, however it's nothing compared to the Pokemon drinking game. I hardly believe anything except for the "Finish you bottle of vodka under 1min" can compare to how sick and drunk you'll get simply by watching the first episode of Pokemon.

I dont drink

I recently had a drink after cheesing some backstab PVP asshat into the low ground where he couldn't climb to me. After a few minutes of taking my arrow potshots he left and I quit. :p

The funny part was he blew right past me while I was chameleon'd as a lectern in crystal cave. XD

Well, time to go back to Demon's Souls for the remainder of the month I guess.

this drinking game guarantees death. why would anyone play it. i'd rather jump off a bridge.
