I noticed in the undead parish, that if you stand right in front of the skinnier pillars(like the six around the altar) and quit game game, then load back in straight away the pillar in front of you just crumbles, I tried it a few times and it happens every time as long as your standing close enough. It's even more weird cos there not destructible as far as I can tell, is there some point in the game where they're scripted to collapse or something? And It also works on the three pillars at the stairs beside the elevator to firelink shrine, so did anyone else come across this by any chance?

Maybe the armored guy who was there was able to break them?

Ahhh that makes sense I guess, I would say thats right enough. I actually forgot all about him, my best guess was that they were originally destructible but it was taken out or something.
