Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember this game being a big deal a long time ago, and then it disappeared.  I can't remember the tragic details; anybody care to fill me in on the lurid details?

It was at E3, there's a few videos floating around if you can find them. This was actually the first time I ever heard of the game and I'm pretty sold on it already. If it doesn't come out until next year sometime I'm thinking this game is going to be pretty badass.

Oh so it still exists?  And it's new?  Maybe I have this game mixed up with another one.  I was thinking it was announced a couple years ago and then quietly shelved a la Project HAMMER.  What's it about?

Yeah the game still exists and it is looking really tight and good. One of the bombcast's talks about Dark Void at E3. Go check it out, its good stuff.

It looks alright. Wouldn't say I'm sold on it, but it's alright.

The 1UP show had a special on Dark Void a few months ago.  They brought in one of the devs who showed the game to them.

Also, as the above poster mentioned, the game was heavily featured at E3 this year.  I think it's currently slated for an early 2009 release?

The game looks hot, Rocketeer meets Gears of War..... awesome...
