Yeah, screen tearing should not be preventing you from playing the game. 

You gotta admit, though, with all the criticism behind the 360 version for it, you'd think they'd have cooked up a patch post-haste. Especially since it seems like the simple matter of enabling v-sync.

I'm the kind of guy who is driven NUTS by screen tearing. First thing I do after installing a PC game is find out where the damn vsync option is and turn it on immediately. 
 
Despite the issues, I'm still having a great time with Darksiders.

hehe...yea i think THQ forgot to enable V-Sync when releasing the game....I have the PS3 version with no problems but I dont think so it is annoying...or is it?

I do find it interesting they say it's so easy to fix and it's been two weeks+ with no patch in sight.

It doesn't bother me at all. I don't know why everyone's getting so worked up about it.

I've been wanting to know about this to. I have the game sealed on the shelf and have some other games to play right now, but I'm still wondering when they plan on releasing the patch.
