Hey there duders. I've been staring at Darksiders II for the past couple of days on Steam and finally decided that I want to jump into the franchise. I don't want to burst into the sequel just yet, so I have been looking around for deals on the first game. I know $20 isn't much, but I was wondering if anyone had some insight on deals going on somewhere that I could get it cheaper. I will probably end up getting it at that retail price at some point if nothing can be found.

Also, would I lose much if I were to snag a used copy from a friend? I know games generally come with serial codes, but is it possible to just take the disc from said friend and use the serial code when installed or is it one of those DRM en-closed account based serial codes that require login confirmation?
