Day of the Infected is a free-to-play, fast action, 3rd person shooter with both PVP & PVE. The game is being developed by Holy Fire Games and is available free, as a playable alpha on Steam.
Planned features include:
A simulation mode with an evolving story that can be influenced by the players actions and choices. Player’s can choose to join or oppose independent AI factions, complete missions and help decide the final outcome of each simulation.
Instant game modes for players who prefer a quick fix. These modes will offer a choice of scenarios and a wide variety of play styles.
Huge playable maps with hundreds, even thousands of player and npc enemies, all intent on the player's destruction.
Driveable, multi-crewed vehicles providing land, air and sea combat on the move.
Tournaments and leaderboards with in-game and real-world prizes.
Upgradeable equipment and weapons.
Rare items to find and collect while playing, in addition to earning Steam badges.
A totally free-to-play model with NO content ever being locked behind a paywall, currency can be earned in-game and via a rewards platform.
