I am wondering if my PS3 turns off do I lose all that I downloaded and have to start over again?

I have slow internet and for me to download the 14gb so game will take almost a day, I hope. Been downloading for 3 hours now and at 13%

If you have download in background on, the PS3 will still download it even when turned off.

@MikeydCT: Yes, you can continue from where you left off. I just tried this just a moment ago, starting from where I left off (46%). It may take a moment for it to register visually, but yes, you can safely resume from where you left off, thankfully. Took three hours for me to get to that percentage.

Yeah, I just started downloading it. Damn, I didn't know it required 14gb of hard drive space. I'm hoping it's worth it. Especially since it's free now.

14GB? That''s going to be a hell of a long install.

Yeah, I have 30-40 down and 6 up. Took me roughly 7 hours to download it all. Nice it tells you how long you wasted waiting.

It's downloading from the game client for me. I got like 3GB to go but I need my internets. If I cancel, will it resume?
