I know this borderlines on youtube spam, but this is too great to not post. So as many of you know who have played the first game, the best part wasn't the crafting, or the open world zombie slaying, or even the unique first person melee combat. No, it was obviously the kick ass rap song, preformed by one of the games playable characters, "Who Do You Voodoo". Refresher:

Well fictitious rapper Sam B is back to sling some bars for Riptide. In the fiction of Dead Island apparently this was recorded before he headed to the zombie infested island. This is awesome, but the best part? Very un-fictitious rapper Chamillionaire also appears on this song. Perfect, absolutely perfect. I frequent a few hip-hop blogs, and there has been a considerable lack of Mr. Illionaire in months, if not years, past. I am glad he is able to launch a comeback starting with appearing on rap songs with fake rappers to promote video games. So for your pleasure here is "No Room In Hell".

So I haven't played this game yet, and now I'm weirdly interested again.

It's stupid to ask if a game is worth <$20, but DI is currently $10 on Origin and I'm craving something. Is the backend really so bad that it will be detrimental to a nearly single digit price?

Dead Island is legitimately pretty amazing until you leave the island area. I'd say pull the trigger and enjoy the first 5-10 hours of it. It blows its load very early and stops being fun a few hours past the opening area.

On topic, this song isn't bad. I enjoy it.

i pre-ordered the original through green man gaming for 35$ and it was worth it + more.. I played it through 3 times and 1 was fully with a friend at all times. There are glitches but at the same time it is considered open world for the most part and alot of the crap on the ground can be used as weapons. It is worth ALOT more then 10$ to me and if you can find someone to play with do so otherwise single player just made it all the better when you were trapped.

This is crap compared to Who do you Vodoo.. Sam B. remains a one hit wonder.
