    I guess they kind of figured that, the vast majority of people that buy the game will get the normal ending. Why not make it canon?  
     
    I don't really have a dog in the fight, since I got the normal ending and will never bother to play any more of it.

    So for them to say "No that didn't actually happen." and also say "And we made you go through those few extra hours of gameplay for no fucking reason." is kind of disappointing and not at all in the spirit of the first game.

    It's the S ending that opens up Overtime Mode and leads to the True Ending.

    Seems like I made the right choice in stopping playing when TK was revealed as the bad guy. That whole game plays like someone described the first game to the Blue Castle team and then asked them to remake it.
