    Capcom seems to be on a roll with repackaging their games. As cool as it may be to play as Frank again, this is just a cheap fan service cash in.

    Actually, I really liked Dead Rising 2. It was a great game and I liked Chuck as a character. But this, this is just stupid.

    Works for someone like me who didn't play Dead Rising 2. One of the reasons why I held out on it was the lack of Frank West. Now I'm glad!

    This is like a GOTY edition for a game that no one would consider a contender for GOTY. If they don't release the extra stuff as DLC for people who already own Dead Rising 2, then they are screwing up.

    They just announced it today and don't even have a proper release date for it.  Why would you automatically assume that the Amazon page is telling the truth?


    Talk about jumping the gun for no good goddamn reason.

    Yeah, but it uses all of the assets and environments from the original game. It's basically a glorified "remix" mode with new cutscenes.

    Might be worth full price after all. We'll see. That is, if it is full price - I very much doubt that Capcom has given retailers any pricing info yet.

    Hmmm... I randomly played Dead Rising 2 yesterday for a while but I couldn't really get back into it as well as my replays through Dead Rising 1. I might consider this...

    I was interested in Case West but it looked a little iffy and isn't canon apparently, what's up with that?

    yeah, sure, with all those videos on the front page,  is someone really calling Capcom lazy?

    i'm surprised developers don't recycle their own shit more often

    it's not like the days of the NES where throwing out all your assets meant you lost like five days of work

    and besides, it was just announced

    I got about as much fun out of Case Zero as I did with both Dead Rising 1 or 2. And that was $5.

    I'm not buying another Dead Rising game until they revamp pretty much everything.
