Whaaaaat? That seems absolutely insane. I couldnt think of any problem that would require 13gb, unless the game was unfinished/completely broken (which its not..)
Is it possible that this is new content or something?

If it were just new content, I would have thought that some sort of announcement would have been made beforehand. And yet, this is far, far too large for a normal bug fix.
That's...surprisingly large. Stuff like this makes me nervous for the inevitable future we're heading towards. That would take like half a day on my connection.
The only time I can think of a time a patch that size being justifiable was The Witcher 2's 'Enhanced Edition' patch. Can't think why Dead Rising 3 would need a patch this big.
Wow what a bunch of BS, it's probably for DLC compatibility. If only they'd just included all the DLC on the disc instead so people wouldn't have to download huge patches.... Oh wait.
I'm not sure if this goes in the new or old thread but: You didn't want that game anyway....here is an entirely new game to replace it!
To be clear if it is lost on some: It isn't automatically a problem to have large games with large downloads. It is a problem to have a large game with a large download and then have a large patch with it. It essentially means the game was shipped "pretty borked".
