Would anyone be interested in having a small, condensed version of the bombcast once both teams are finished with Deadly Premonition? Since this ER features all four of the guys playing the same game, it would make more sense to have one compared to when the P4 ER ended.
Deadly Premonition
Game » consists of 11 releases. Released Feb 23, 2010
An open-world action-adventure game following an eccentric FBI agent as he investigates a series of bizarre murders in the small rural town of Greenvale.
Deadly Premonition Bombcast?
" @DOUBLESHOCK said:I cant be the only one who doesnt watch the new endurance run but listens to the bombcast religiously....." They could just talk about it in the normal bombcast, they are good at avoiding spoilers. "There would be no real reason to avoid spoilers since the majority of the site has watched them play through the story.... "
A special short episode might be cool, since it definitely isn't a feature everyone enjoys. However I'd be fine with some spoiler-free discussion when they're done.
Either way it will be very interesting to see how they feel about the game when it's all over and done with. It seems as though it's been gradually growing on all of them.
I think a DP dedicated podcast after both teams finish could be cool. I'm interested to hear the guys swap stories since it seems like they are having some different experiences. It allows them to talk about the game without taking up normal podcast space which is something Ryan seems to be concerned about.
It also doesn't step on the toes of the people who aren't interested in Deadly Premonition or the Endurance run.

I would love it if they had a DP dedicated bombcast, for all those who love the ER this would be great and they would be able to share their experiences with each other.
I only have time to watch one of the ER's (I'll watch VJ when BR is finished), but since all they do is talk about the game during the ER itself, I think a bombcast slot would be just repeating what has already been said.
Maybe the answer is that when one team has finished, that team joins in on the other teams last episode, and they can all talk about it then.
* The people of G4TV talk a lot of Deadly Premonition in the second half of this Feedback episode:

They made a recente review too:

" It can just have a segment in the normal bombcast, i cant imagine them wanting to talking about it for too long. But it'll be interesting listening to them work out what each other missed, and how they reacted similarly etc "

I'm for the idea of a seperate DP only cast. Would solve the problem of spoilers in a normal bombcast, as well as save the people who listen to the bombcast but don't watch the ER/care about DP.
It wouldn't have to be super long, but I'd really like to hear them discuss it. Not just "Oh the bit where ____". I want to hear them dissect that game. It obviously has big issues but they seem very much tied to it's charm. It seems like it inspires a love-hate relationship with it's combination of quirky crazyness and some mind boggling design, and I'd love to hear them talk about that. It's a very interesting game to break down and look at in comparison to what we are used to or expect from our games. They could talk a bit about what they think of SWERY's writing/design/direction etc and if he should or should not try to continue that universe. They could also talk about how they see the success of the ER as a whole. What were it's strengths and weaknesses and how do they compare to the Persona run, do they feel they picked the right game and what was the thought process behind picking it, were the simultaneous runs a good idea, etc.
Overall, I think they picked a game with a lot of personality, humour etc, but also very deliberately something that would fill the pre-e3 lull, then be done when it's time for all the actual big news to cover and since that storm's-a-comin', it'd be good to have a roundtable discussion on that game as an ultimate closure on the series.

"Agreed, I'd love to hear a post mortem about the whole ER in general, not just the game. I was sort of worried 10-15 episodes in that they wouldn't really like the game. Also, they haven't really spoken about the actual game itself at all, I'm curious what they've got to say.
Sorry didn't see that you started a similar topic. Definitely would like a DP podcast once all is over!
