This has been confirmed for some time now. Nice to see something a little more concrete though. Shitty boxart is shitty though! The 360 and JP releases both had way better covers than this. I'll still buy this and play the utter fuck out of it however. I started playing it on 360 with a friend and the few hours I played were nothing short of undeniable genius.

Sweet, I was thinking about how I wanted to replay this game someday.

This is the game that is selling me on a PS3. They should release a Deadly Premonition-themed console bundle to save me some trouble.

I actually thought the Brad and Ryan segments were significantly funnier than the Jeff/Vinny segments, gotta say.

It starts off kinda bad, but after they start getting into it its pretty good. Jeff and Vinny never encounter the giant demon dogs.

Also I feel like I'm gonna buy this game, especially if the reworked combat is good.

Well, this is good news and I think PS3 is a good fit for this release. Much of the criticism form gaming outlets that scored it poorly mentioned the controls, so it seems inline with logic that they would discuss control improvements from the outset. If this remake does well in sales I hope SOMEONE considers backing the company for a true sequel.

Nothing stops the endurance run. Even when everyone finishes playing the game, the game keeps going.

as much as I would LOVE another Vinny and Jeff endurance run, you guys are crazy if you think they will do another one for Deadly Premonition.

I suppose that's a good point. The game has a fanbase now and I guess they may use that to their advantage, just to see how much we'd be willing to pay. But y'know what, I would totally pay... $30, erm so like £20-£25 I think, for this enhanced version of Deadly Premonition. Any higher and they'd be pushing it...

They should QL the Director's Cut with all four endurance runners together to see how it fares and reminisce. There never was a end of ER podcast or anything with both groups talking about how it was. Not that there needed to be, but it woulda been cool.

Will absolutely buy. I'm hoping this will allow me to experience the great-bad parts of the game with less of the bad-bad parts getting in the way.

Why is it a exclusive to the PS3? I'd do anything for a PC release and an inclusion of the some of the assets or builds when the game was even more like Twin Peaks.

It is. Ryan was in top shape during the ER.

God yes!! I watched both of them, and they were both amazing. In fact, this past Friday I decided to go back and watch them both again...they are even better the second time through.

BTW, while watching the Brad/Ryan ER, there WILL be times when you'll want to reach through your computer screen grab the controller from Brad and beat hom to death with it. But, that's just part of the charm of a good Endurance Run! ;)

There was totally a view of the whole map in the pause screen. I picked up on the dog shape real early on.
