In this week's I Love Mondays, Ryan asked if this week would be the end of the "Dueling Endurance-Runs" - was he for real or just teasing us? For those of you who have beaten / or have knowledge of Deadly Premonition's ending can you give a simple yes/no answer for whether or not the Endurance Run has a chance of ending this week?  
 
For one, I believe that the Endurance Run is probably ending this week - people said that the game was 20 hours long and as my Endurance Run Charts  show - Team VJ has just about reached 1200 minutes - or 20 hours of game-time. 

I'd say no. I haven't played the game myself but I've seen the achievements and there are 6 episodes, 
as of today VJ just hit the end of episode 3. 
 
So half way through perhaps? I may be wrong.

I think VJ is gonna end, therefore the 'dueling' element of the endurance runs will finish. Still think BR is gonna keep going up until at least next week.

I thought the average time for DP was said to be around 30 hours long... they've done a fair amount of side missions(though, not too many to be honest) 
 
The game seems to be 3/4 done though atleast.

You'd think that's how it would be, but it wouldn't be DP if things made sense. There are 26 or 27 chapters in the game, episode 3 wraps up around episode 20 or 21(VJ are on 19 or 20 I think). They are actually pretty close to finishing the game, maybe 1 1/2 weeks worth.

No spoilers, but hold on to your fucking hats. It gets weird.

Well, Vinny and Jeff are done with the game so it's only a matter of time before the final episode gets put up.

I'd say 90% good weird, 10% bad weird.

Believe me, you'll know which parts are which.

VJ have but one episode, in the game i mean not of the endurance run, left in the main quest.

Jeff has the achievement for completing the game on his profile so it think they are done not sure about BR though( there not far behind)

They often ask such a question on ILM when they're doing an Endurance Run.
 
As for if the game is actually nearly finished, I don't know as I haven't played it.

On the Giantbombing Xbox Live account Jeff has got the achievements for completing the game so it looks like it might be on it's final leg..

Not a chance. I've finished the game myself, and there's quite a ways to go. Unless we start getting episodes every day that last well over an hour and they rush for the end, it's not gonna happen.
 
It'll end soon-ish, but definitely not this week. Possibly not even next week.

Definitely wrong. When I played through the game for the first time, I figured that the later chapters would be every bit as long as the earlier ones. Not the case. I'd say that VJ could finish this within five more videos, assuming that they're half an hour a piece. That's assuming that they go straight through the rest of the storyline. "
