Is it that you're concerned other people will see you wearing a Deadpool sweatshirt and think "that guy sure loves that obnoxious-ass character from UMvC3" or that Disney will look at its quarterly earnings and say "well 10,000 units sold would have been bad, but we've got 10,001 so full steam ahead on the Deadpool movie sequel!"

(And I do realize that neither of these are literal, since you are talking about this as a matter of principle. I'm just curious which principle, specifically.)

What swag is it? If this scenario bothers you don't buy it. Assuming it is something you would have on you in public like a shirt. You wear your new Deadpool shirt one day, and some dude says, "hey cool shirt I loved that video game." If that doesn't bother you get it and enjoy it. Disney will not notice your money.

And yeah, like I said, it's a matter of principle. I do, however, resent your implication that my purchase doesn't matter. I saw Swing Vote (I didn't.)

If you are talking about my implication, the reason I worded it that way was primarily because you stated I know one purchase doesn't make a difference, but it's a matter of principle." If you took offense by what I said, though, I do apologize.

It's a decent looking shirt but my vote is to go with the principled decision and forego it. At this point, Deadpool is more widely known for being annoying (or funny, to people who like annoying humor) than for his old storylines with Cable. Unfortunately, there's no brand distinction between those two Deadpool entities, so Marvel must be punished until it retcons him again.

I had a Deadpool symbol shirt that looked like the one on superhero stuff, and the eyes turned a reddish white after one or two washes. Their's may be a better quality and not have this issue, who knows.

I have this Deadpool polo shirt and wear it often. It's awesome in that people who know Deadpool flip out over it and people who don't are completely unaware the symbol means anything at all. It's awesome.
