Nah not really. There's more to the character then what he is today, but most people don't really see or get that. Read Joe Kelly's run. THAT is Deadpool.

Also Liefield created Cable and he's far from a shit character. Just because characters don't start out great, doesn't mean they don't realize their potential under different writers.

As for the game it looks fine. Something you play for the weekend, enjoy it, and never play again probably. Nothing wrong with that. This is that sort of "B" tier game that Jeff always says he misses.

The only comic book character I know of that I find to be less interesting than Superman is Deadpool. Seems unlikely that I'll play this at any point, unless it reviews very well and is on sale for $5 or less.

No, because I am a Deadpool fan. I won't give people who are actively ruining the brand any of my money. The thought that some will dislike Deadpool because of his poor representation in this game is horrible and I refuse to contribute to any modicum of success it might have.

It's no Arkham, but it looks serviceable enough. Maybe when it's $15 on PC.

Absolutely not. New Deadpool is a fucking travesty. If this was 90's Deadpool? Then probably. But Daniel Way Deadpool makes me want to vomit.

The only redeeming quality that I see for this game is that is has Domino in it. She gets left out of fucking everything X-Men related. Kind of understandably from a video game point of view as her mutant power is a impossible to even put into gameplay terms.

Nope. I'm not a comic or Deadpool fan. I barely know anything about him. And I'm not that excited about character-action games. Plus I can spend my money elsewhere.
