I heard it's basically DMC with a Marvel coat of paint, what more could you ask for?

I was hoping for Arkham Asylum with killing, to be honest.

Weird, the game play video I saw doesn't look anything like DMC.

What an odd comparison.

It looks like generic third person action combat with a little more murder and violence and self awareness.

But I"m stoked for it as well. Not a day one purchase but I want to play it so I'll likely get it eventually when it drops in price. I am kind of sad a lot of the critical reaction an reaction in general seems to be negative on the whole self aware video game nature of the character. Sure some people may not find that funny but that is true to the character. He would be doing that nonsensical stuff. Personally I find it funny. In the trailers the way he sneaks or the way he interacts with objects. Hell even just the fact that you can randomly cook pancakes and hang out in your apartment as actual game mechanics is pretty funny to me.

But to each their own I guess.

Straight goofy Deadpool is what I wouldn't ask for. Maybe it's just Nolan North's performance that comes off that way.

Resurrecting this again due to it being a Steam sale item this morning. It's hella fun if you enjoyed the shit out of Wolverine, because it's dumb and stupid and exactly like that game except instead of being all broody, everyone hates Deadpool and makes no secret of it. The Wolverine game is one of the few games I've ever owned that I bothered getting 1000GS in, and $20 didn't seem like that bad of a deal.
