Mr. Kojima appeared on the monthly liveshow SEGA RAW to talk shop with Mr. Nagoshi and chat a bit about Death Stranding. The interview has been subbed for Chinese by Youtuber Huang, but you can auto translate the subs to English to get the gist of what's going on.. I've not been able to find a fully English translation yet.

@hassun: My pleasure! It seems they've known each other for 20 years and both are super into movies. It's definitely something that can be felt in their games, as Nagoshi is about as cutscene crazy as Kojima is :D

Did they talk about anything interesting? Any information about the game?

For every year his games remain in development his youth is maintained. Which also explains why his games are always delayed.

@49th: Kojima mentions that the naval cord and the handcuffs are symbols of things being bound together and that the unique lettering is also cords, not blood hanging off them... I assume that means he's doing a new Army of Two game.
