Demolition Derby
CONCEPT
Players drive vehicles in an arena where the object is to smash into the other vehicles for points or to be the last vehicle standing.

Demolition Derbys have existed since the 50s becoming popular in the 60s-70s with events taking place at county fairs throughout the United States and it was only a matter of time before the excitement of taking moving objects and smashing them together came to video games when in 1984 Bally/Midway introduced Demolition Derby for the Arcade. Then in 1995 Destruction Derby came along as one of the most the iconic games of this niche genre.
