    Overview

Desert Bus is a mobile game and unofficial remake of Desert Bus; one of several minigames that was meant for inclusion in the never officially released title Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors developed by Absolute Entertainment. The original game has been popularized by the annual charity drive Desert Bus for Hope, in which the organizers take shifts driving the bus for a time designated by the amount received in donations.

In the game, the player must drive from Tuscon, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada in real time at a speed never exceeding forty-five miles per hour. The bus's steering is also slightly off, causing the vehicle to veer left and require constant correction. It is a game that was intentionally designed to be mind-numbingly tedious, fitting with the theme of the Penn and Teller game in which it originated.
