Oh, the Alpha's already over? Makes sense, just a shame I never got a chance to play it. I feel like I wasted my code(s).

I think I might have witnessed a testrun a couple of hours back. I was farming a bit in exploration mode, near where the Devil's Lair dungeon takes off, suddenly the zone got flooded with Fallen and Hive, locked in an epic battle.

So when exactly is 6 PM from now?

From what I've seen nothing has happened. I've been logged in for about and hour and a half or so.

I think it was just poorly worded...the code they posted has unlimited uses/lets everyone in. So they were saying "Let's all have one last blast before it's over, also so we can stress test!"

They posted that code that works for everyone. To open the alpha to everyone. And they said join us at this time blah blah to get everyone on the server at the same time to see how it handled the load. Smart.

@sterling: When did they post it and how much longer is the beta open? Maybe it's not so smart. It takes 3 hours roughly to download the beta.

Yep, this was either a poorly or deceptively worded notice for everybody to rush in and partake in one last stress test.

So I'm playing since I woke up. No event yet. I stumbled over several Hive VS Fallen warzones, which was pretty great.

I accidentally wandered into an area full of level 10 and 11 Fallen - needless to say it didn't go well for me at level 7...

Huh.

Things like this make me feel like they actively want to avoid an online launch similar to Sim City, BF4, or Diablo 3. Which I appreciate. A lot.

They say they've extended the alpha to test 'expert mode' for the beta. Can't find any clarification as usual. Been in the alpha playing the explore mode today; I'll go back in and look around some.

I guess I shouldn't have deleted my alpha yet. Eh I think I've seen all I need to see of this game anyway till the beta comes out next month. If something neat happens I'm sure someone will be live streaming it anyway.
