Detective Norman is a character in Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition.

Originally from Empire Bay, Detective Norman arrived in Lost Heaven in 1935 to investigate the criminal ventures of Don Morello, and his rival Don Salieri.
The Morello case would offer no leads for 3 whole years until Norman arranged a meeting with Tommy Angelo, who would offer to reveal all secrets of Don Salieri in exchange for the protection of his family. Norman agrees to listen to what Tommy has to say, who first begins with how he joined the Salieri family in the first place.
As Tommy's story winds down, Detective Norman becomes sympathetic with his plea but warns Tommy that he would have to face all those he worked with in a court of law. Tommy understands what needs to be done, as his main priority is his family's safety.
Norman reveals that he too has a family to look out for, a wife and three boys. Although he knows that keeping Tommy alive isn't moral, Norman states that he'll do what he can without putting his neck on the line. Tommy understands that it has to be enough, and he accepts Detective Norman's assistance.
