I am waiting for the postman to arrive, in the UK, as he always seems to come middayish. Anyone got their preorder from GAME today? Give me hope? :)

Isn't it out tomorrow? Not today? Or are you hoping to get it a day early? I'm just picking mine up from the store on the way home from work tomorrow.

sometimes if you pre-order from GAME.co.uk you get it a day or two early.

ShopTo.net always deliver early, except at the moment it says processing pre-orders. I'm just going to buy a steam code from them.

I got mine today, however it's the pc version so I can't play it until midnight!

I have a friend who ordered from Game and his has arrived. He can't play it though because it is the Steam version!

Oh damn it, i really want to play this game, with every thread i see i want to play it more and more....can someone spare 44.99 €? You know I'm good for it.

Did any of you guys splash out for the 75 quid version of the game?   

The box alone is worth the extra £40. Not sure what kind of magic they infused it with, but it feels well swanky to the touch.  
Also impressed with little dead Jensen figure found lying on top of the DVD case. A lot more detail and subtle articulation than the chunky NECA  video game figures.
 
And then I tried to install the game only to be told by Steam that I'm not allowed to until midnight. Boo! 

It seems I only got a bill. How annoying. Tomorrow I guess.

Amazon haven't even sent my copy yet :-(

I got mine yesterday. Ordered through Amazon, this is only my second pre-order through them and I already love them. First Xenoblade arrived on Wednesday, now this.

I know I shouldn't expect it because of previous expectations, but I've fallen in that trap today and now I'm disappointed. I'll get over it. It will arrive tomorrow and I'll enjoy playing it till my eyes bleed.

I shouldn't (and can't really) complain about not receiving it early, because that's just an occasional 'added bonus'. I knew the moment they started taking 'special care' to all the early pre-orders I wasn't going to get it early. I will get it tomorrow. I just wish they'd trust the system they already have in place.

Just received my augmented edition from Play.com. Quite impressed that DPD managed to give me the hour when it would arrive. Will preorder from them again

Got my Augmented Edition today! Installing it now, whilst ripping the soundtrack from the bonus DVD. The music for this game is pretty fucking special.

Order through Play.com, getting it early isn't an "Added bonus" with them, it's pretty much a standard.

But I really see value in ordering from GAME, I get reward points which has given free games I got Dead space 1 for free and Fallout NV for free. (I think one other). In the end (with the limited monies I have) I actually see a better benefit if I stick to their site and brand because of the reward sceme.

I ordered from Game two days ago and it said it was on the way last night. Postman's just been so think I'll be getting mine tomorrow.

I sadly forgot to put in my order, so I'll just go out and pick up a copy tomorrow.

Also, am I the only one who Play.com are consistently missing release dates with? They used to be so reliable, but now I'm often not getting my game until Saturday or Monday if it was a Friday release.

Can't be too sure. I picked up the Augmented Edition and it did not come with a shiny cover, so maybe not? Unless they thought paying more meant you didn't want shininess.

Here's some piccies. You can see that the front cover has an effect on it, it's not too prominent and it shows up really well in the camera flash but not greatly in normal lighting.

I VPN'd to an American server for the PC version, I just couldn't wait, it's good, so have fun when you get yours.
