A friend of mine keeps mentioning a new HD collection of Devil May Cry 1, 2 & 3.

All I can find are a few rumours that it was going to be announced at E3. Now E3 has come & gone, and there're no new news.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Hmmm, If so, i'm buying day 1! But i don't think there is a collection :S

Would be great if it came out, but I haven't heard anything.

I loved first and second. I'm probably in the minority on DmC2 though. Hard as hell. But i loved it. Never played 3. Skipped to 4:)

Ahhh. guess i should then. I know that DmC2 was ported wrong(normal as hard) but i honestly loved dmc2. But then again as you say, i'll be looking in the bargin bins then :) cheers for the tip :)

Sorry to hear that, I really enjoy 4. But I was late to the DMC party... so going back to play the others on the old PS2 felt slugging & unresponsive, which is why I'm hoping that this rumour is based on fact.

All I've managed to find are a few rumours here & there. Apparently a Spanish site has a release date in December 2011, but if that was the case then where's ll the press releases & promo material? :(

1 was good for its time but the only 2 I would play is 3 and 4.

I have wanted this for a long time.  You broke my heart, I thought there was going to be a news story with evidence that one existed ;(

The first three are all good games. The first set new trends and holds up relatively well, the second has a batshit crazy storyline, and the third is just the best gameplay wise.  
 
Four however? That shit sucks, so I'm hoping that they release this collection even though they've already released a collection similar to this on the PS2. 

That would be pretty cool, I guess. I haven't played any of the series.

My 1st game was the 4th game, so I would love an HD version :D

I've played all 4 DMC game(Or 5, counting DMC 2:Lucia Version!), and I had a hard time back then playing DMC games(I was only a kid back then!), So I would love an HD Collection!(Pls. put DMC 3 Special Edition though! I never got the chance to play Vergil :()
