I know rumours were rife at the start of the PSP life but now I am seeing rumours as well as listings earmarking 2009.

I did see a trailer for an awful looking DMC cell phone game though.

Yeah, I had completely forgotten that the rumor existed.  I don't think it'll come out.

God of War done well, Capcom I hope have noted that success and are making a equally polished game. I think it would be awesome for PSP. It goes without saying, the PSP needs more quality, and titles like this can provide it.

I would only want it for the novelty if it tied into the story well, it's not really a game that needs to be portable at all really, as was GoW CoO, but I loved that game none the less. It's awesome for fans to have portable polished versions of their beloved console games.

It was Devil May Cry Collection or something, unofficial title I think. I don't know what the project was/is. I think it's still coming.

For some reason I think its a remake of the original but I wouldnt mind a totally new game.

I never even knew such a rumor existed...it would make sense to see a DMC game on the PSP, but I don't know if it will be happening anytime soon.

The original plot of the DMC game for PSP was that you would play as The Dark Knight Sparda, and it would be a prequel to the prequel.
