    Can we hire mercenaries like in Diablo 2? Or does anyone know if there bring that back?

    "It's been indicated that there will be two sorts of mobs that will assist players; hirelings and mercenaries. Hirelings appear to be a type of NPC that can can be enlisted to help a character for a short period, or while on a particular quest. Mercenaries function much in the same way as they did in Diablo 2, meaning they will be purchased via gold and will have the ability to be geared up."

    I don't know, I haven't heard much about that.
     
    That being said if they do bring it back I hope they expand on it a little bit more. Would be nice to set their stats if we want to for instance. Or armor changing their appearance. Just something I always thought about, not entirely necessary.
     
    Anyway, I don't know. I haven't seen any talk of Mercs yet. Would be neat, was something I liked in Diablo 2.

    Its pretty fun to banter around with a few skeletons, golems and mercs and murder stuff^^

    Thanks cgoodno for posting that link. I do hope they bring back Mercs in Diablo 3 CornBREDX.
