Dice Block

A Mario Party object that allows the players to move up to 10 spaces per turn. It is also used for deciding the turn order and more and come in various shapes and colors. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it appears as a sticker.

Board Game

A board game is a game played on a mostly-static surface using markers or chits to indicate player progress. Many video game board games are based on tabletop games (Catan, Monopoly), but some, like Mario Party and Culdcept, are original designs that use board game design as a starting point.
Gambler

Gambler are a type of trainer that like to roll the dice! Their name was later changed to gamer, than again changed to PI.
Last Five Turns Event

The game is almost over and there are 5 turns left. The Mario Party franchise used this concept to give out the current scores and a new twist is added. This appears in all games (except Mario Party Advance and Mario Party-e).
Minigame

These are often a departure from the conventional gameplay of a game. There have also been compilations; games including only minigames. The Mario Party series has a lot of minigames, too!
Party Game

Games that are arguably the most fun in a "party" scenario with multiple players in one room.
Random Number Generation

A Random Number Generator (hence RNG) is a system designed to randomize a sequence of numbers. Most games technically use a table of 'random' numbers, simulating random chance.
Roll

A maneuver involving both horizontal movement and rotation about a horizontal axis. Many characters roll in a unique fashion, and certain vehicles are even capable of rolling
Sudden Death

Sudden Death occurs when two or more players/teams have the same score at the end of the game. It can also be a penalty that activates when a player of match is taking too long. The players will then have to get rid of each other in a hurry.
