Atlus' revered PlayStation 2 classics Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 are set to be rereleased on the European PSN, according toa blog postby publisher Ghostlight. No pricing or release date information is available as of yet, nor is there any indication of a North American release, although Atlus has never historically been one to avoid releasing esoteric titles stateside.

As someone who's always wanted to play these games but never got around to doing so, this seems like an opportune time.

Why no Lucifers Call? (that's Nocturne to you americans.)

This makes me excited. Excited that recently there has been a bevvy of PS2 titles hitting the EU PSN, with the possibilty of more to come.

I'll definately give thesea shot when they become availiable. Lucifer's Call would be even sweeter.

I'd really like to see Lucifer's Call/Nocturne too. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

Why only in Europe?

They just released the game in Europe today.

Are these out in NA at all on PSN?

EDIT: Looks like the first one came out a few weeks ago in NA, never know if I should play these games through PSN or just get the PS2 versions...

I think I heard that Digital Devil Saga 1 is already on the US PSN store.

I played Nocturne last year and I already have these on the PS2, though I haven't even finished the first one yet. It is by no means a bad game, but I'm just not enjoying it as much as I did Nocturne.

EDIT: Oh, I didn't know this was a bump.

At some point you guys should have just played these games on PCSX2.

That's so Ghostlight, truely the small businessman of publishers. Hopefully, SEGA will begin to improve the current shitshow of EU Atlus releases soon.
