Looks pretty cool
DiRT 3
Game » consists of 12 releases. Released May 24, 2011
Dirt 3 is the latest installment in Codemasters' long-running Colin McRae Rally franchise. The game returns to the series' rally roots with dynamic weather, a career focusing on team-based racing, as well as introducing the freestyle event: Gymkhana.
Expect to Get a Little Dusty in DiRT 3
@Tupacalypse said:Couldn't hurt to give this one a shot and try to improve your skills, could it?A mistake on the Internet! It is my duty to point it out! :PAlso, this game looks amazing. Too bad I utterly suck at driving games.dust? in dirt 2? what is this bulllshit
Please, don't "americanize" this game too much... I want pure european rally, not some freestyle talentless BS.While I too agree that a game centered more on rally would be a better experience (that's the direction they have apparently gone with this title, regardless of all of these pre-release videos), Gymkhana is by no means talentless. I would actually argue that it takes more talent to control a car in the tight environment of a Gymkhana course than it does to drive a rally course (however, not much more, and don't take that comparison too heavily as the two require different sets of skills).

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to pick this game up.
Leaning towards picking it up again.
Already got this one pre-ordered. Holding out hope that they've abandoned some of the "Mountain Dew EXTREME-ness" of Dirt 2, in favour of a game more rooted in the Colin McRae tradition.
IF it's true that this one will be a lot more focused on rally courses than on anything else, then I'm game.
As cool as this is, you know what would be great for your videogame commercial?
FOOTAGE OF THE VIDEOGAME IN QUESTION.
There is nothing I hate more then game advertisements that do not show the actual videogame! It is the worst thing! Ever!
Looking at this and the box are the dropping Colin McRea from the title? I can't see it there anywhere. It's an understandable decision if that is the case, obviously Colin McRea isn't recognizable to younger players, they probably think he is a developer like Sid Meier or some other weird tie in like Tom Clancy. The sad fact is that he has probably been dead longer than some people have been playing games by now...
Good to see The Prodigy getting some videogame love at the moment... any video (even the Duke Nukem Autopsy) with a prodigy soundtrack gets a thumbs up from me!
What's the name of the song? The track is The Prodigy - Warriors Dance (Benga Remix)
