    I'm not sure if this is a bug or if the game save mechanic just sucks donkey dick but every time I pick Continue the game just loads from the start of a mission, does this happen to anybody else?

    Nope my game always continued from last save. Mid mission or not. I played on 360.

    Happened to me once on the PC. Since then I make sure that my latest save is always a Quicksave, which has solved the problem for me.
