In Disney Magical World, developed by Namco Bandai and localized by Nintendo, players first create an avatar from scratch or based off of a previously constructed Mii. Then meet and interact with over 60 well-known Disney characters, ranging from Mickey Mouse to Lilo and Stitch. The player can explore themed worlds, such as ones based on Aladdin and Winnie the Pooh, to take on quests and collect special items. There are also a number of things one can do at any given time, such as fishing, farming, interior designing the cafe, carpentry, fashion designing, battling ghosts as a wand-wielding wizard, playing chef, and collecting stickers to open up new sections of the map. Just like Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the game runs in sync with the real-world clock, and certain events and decorations pop up at specific times.
The game's original title was Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life.
